Dr. Vinamrta Saini

Dr. Vinamrta Saini is a dedicated Optometrist who earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry. After practicing in Chicago, she now serves the Durham region, providing comprehensive eye care with a special focus on dry eye treatment, myopia control, ocular disease management, and advanced contact lens fittings.

During her clinical training, Dr. Saini specialized in dry eye management, becoming well-versed in a wide range of treatment options, from lifestyle-based therapies to advanced in-office procedures. She is passionate about helping patients achieve lasting relief from dry eye symptoms and is committed to providing personalized solutions that enhance both vision and comfort.

Dr. Saini furthered her skills and experience with several clinical internships, including one at the Bay Pines VA Hospital, where she worked closely with ophthalmologists to diagnose and manage a wide spectrum of ocular diseases. This experience strengthened her expertise in treating complex conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy, while reinforcing her collaborative approach to patient care.

To better serve her diverse community, Dr. Saini is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi as well as English and is pleased to offer bilingual eye exams for patients who prefer care in these languages.
