Dr. Elizabeth Li

Dr. Elizabeth Li is a licensed optometrist who has been proudly serving the Durham Region community since 2013. She provides comprehensive eye care, including full-scope eye exams, contact lens fittings, and the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, with a strong focus on patient-centered, evidence-based care.

A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Doctor of Optometry program, Dr. Li completed her degree on the Dean’s Honour List. Her clinical training included rotations at multidisciplinary clinics across the GTA—among them the Vision Institute of Canada, which provided care to underserved and at-risk populations—as well as an externship at Pinellas Eye Associates in Florida, where she gained extensive experience managing a wide spectrum of eye conditions.

Dr. Li is also a published author in Scientific Reports and remains active in her profession as a member of both the Ontario Association of Optometrists (OAO) and the Canadian Association of Optometrists (CAO).

Outside the clinic, Dr. Li is a proud mom of four boys and enjoys biking and spending time outdoors with her family.
